  • Are You Spiritually Awake or Asleep?

You can be breathing and still spiritually asleep. Attending church, quoting Scripture, and even serving—but if your spirit isn’t alert to God’s voice, you may be living on autopilot. Spiritual sleep is dangerous because it’s subtle. It lulls you into a false sense of security while your passion fades, your convictions soften, and your hunger for truth quiets down.

Romans 13:11 reminds us that now is the time to wake up from slumber—because our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. We’re not called to just “get by” spiritually. We’re called to watch and be ready. The times we’re living in demand discernment, devotion, and spiritual sensitivity.

If you’ve been spiritually sleepy, don’t be discouraged. God’s grace is still calling you. You can wake up today—shake off the heaviness, repent, and get back into alignment. Now is the time to rise, shine, and walk in truth.

    📖 Key Scripture:
“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” — Romans 13:11 (NKJV)

    💭 Call to Reflect:
Have you been spiritually alert—or spiritually asleep? What distractions do you need to lay down in order to fully wake up and walk in truth?
